How we work with partner centres

Our in-person and hybrid TEFL courses

We’re committed to helping you choose a TEFL course that offers strong training, practical preparation, and realistic support for starting your teaching career.

For our in-person and hybrid courses, we work closely with a small number of carefully selected TEFL training centres around the world. These courses are delivered by our partner centres, while School of TEFL supports you before and after enrolment and provides additional guidance alongside the local support you receive in-centre.

We only work with centres that demonstrate a consistent commitment to quality training, ethical recruitment, and meaningful support for new teachers.

Partner centre standards

All of our partner centres are reviewed against the following criteria:

  • Accreditation

Government accreditation or recognition by a reputable external accrediting organisation.

  • Training

Training that meets or exceeds the internationally recognised standard of 120 hours of instruction.

  • Instruction

Instruction delivered by certified and experienced teacher trainers.

  • Teaching practice

At least 6 hours of observed teaching practice with real students - the recognised international standard.

  • Job guidance

Outstanding job guidance and support, with extensive knowledge of the local TEFL job market.

  • Support

Exceptional support with aspects such as visas, accommodation, and orientation upon arrival.

We review partner centre information regularly and update this page when details change. If you notice anything that may have changed since our last review, please let us know.

Why enrol through School of TEFL?

Enrolling on an in-person or hybrid course through School of TEFL gives you access to the same training, certification, and in-centre support as enrolling directly with the partner centre.

School of TEFL works in partnership with these centres and receives a partner fee for enrolments made through our site. This does not affect the course price or the training you receive, but it does allow us to provide additional guidance and support alongside the course itself.

As a result, choosing to enrol through School of TEFL gives you access to the following additional support:

  • Deposit refund guarantee

If you complete the course but don’t meet the assessment requirements, we'll refund your deposit in line with our refund policy.

  • Ongoing job guidance

Practical advice on CVs, applications, and job searching, alongside the local support provided by the partner centre.

  • Optional grammar support

Access to our Grammar Course is included to support your training and teaching.

  • Personal guidance

Direct access to friendly, experience-based advice before, during, and after your course.
