About Keith

Keith Taylor is a Cambridge DELTA-qualified teacher trainer (2008, University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations) with more than 25 years’ experience in English language teaching. He began teaching in 1999 in Indonesia, and since then has worked in Australia, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Poland, France and the UK, teaching learners of all ages and training new teachers.

From 2002 to 2015, Keith directed language schools in Morocco and France, where he developed teacher-training programmes, supported professional development for new and experienced teachers, and mentored colleagues at different stages of their teaching careers.

In 2005, Keith co-founded Eslbase, a platform created to share practical guidance for teachers and trainees based on real classroom experience. He later founded School of TEFL to bring that same experience into helping people choose high-quality TEFL courses and begin their own teaching journeys with confidence.

Today, Keith works closely with respected partner centres around the world and supports trainees through personalised guidance, honest advice, and experience-based insights into teaching, visas, training and job markets.

When he’s not working on School of TEFL or Eslbase, Keith enjoys travelling, spending time with his family, and exploring new ways to make grammar enjoyable for learners.
